Increasingly, it seems to me that the foundation of American life has shifted from its old core of civic participation/consciousness to falseness a plasticity that is swallowing everything in its path
It deeply troubles me. To often now are we pushed into saying or doing things in which we hold no belief or conviction
Ideas such as political correctness have become their own form of censorship and oppression.
Not only must we be politically correct and honor the individual, but we must also be clear of the language of bias
Even the language of equality is now used as a weapon of divisiveness.
One of the greatest lines of poetry ever written:
"The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."
